He liked them enough to the point where he made his scales orange and greenish to match the citrus. The small RainWing would climb up the thorny tree, somehow unscathed every time, and grab loads of the huge fruits. Pomelo was particularly into a specific citrus fruit known as the pomelo: a large greenish-orange look alike to the orange which grew occasionally in the rainforest in small groups. Pomello tree leaves turning yellow and falling off free#He couldn't remain still for long, and once he was taught about the dizzying array of fruits the RainWing snuck off to the fruit trees during any second of free time. Pomelo, according to the RainWing, was "highly incompetent". There, he learned what RainWings could actually do, taught by a much older mentor known as Passiflor. Pomelo wandered around, eventually finding the RainWing Village. He was too young to really know anything: he just scampered off into the forest, leaving the two other sibling eggs to chill by themselves in the rain. Through some tragedy, Pomelo hatched on a deceased RainWing in heavy rain. When scared his back spikes briefly turn greenish-yellow. Instead of becoming red or orange when angered like the rest of his kin, the red line between his underscales and upper scales becomes brighter red or orange. He's not keen on showing emotions on his scales, so a drastic change in color is due to a powerful emotion. Opening his mouth or holding an expression for a moment automatically makes the scales above his mouth turn these colors until he changes look(like in the ref). While relaxing blue and yellow scales pop up in the orange color and shift constantly. He walks with a limp in his back left leg.īlue and yellow scales may briefly flash down his neck, body, and/or tail. Pomelo is a little larger than other RainWings, but the size difference isn't very noticeable because he's only 5 years old. Blue and pink scales run down half of his tail. The RainWing has a very long prehensible tail. His spikes are light pink, and he has green/blue with rose patterns down his body. Pomelo has a complicated array of blue to green gradients on his limbs, supported by pink scales on his legs. His underside is paler, separated by a dull reddish brown. His eyes are rich brown and have a blue ring around them. Pomelo is a perky pastel orange RainWing with lime green and yellow frills. Appearance "You are what you eat, so I became a pomelo!"
